I like Monica Crowley, and I like this pick by Trump. Reports are that Fox News has terminated their contract with Crowley, so that she could take a job on Trump’s National Security Council. Leftists and the fake news media are likely to hate this, so it’s that much better of a pick. Crowley has foreign policy experience as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon. That too is likely to piss off the left.

Monica Crowley, a conservative radio host and Fox News analyst, is expected to be tapped by the Trump administration to be a deputy national security advisor, two sources familiar with the pick said.
The sources spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the choice. Crowley did not immediately return a request for comment.
Crowley, a self-described “happy warrior,” a loyal Trump supporter and advocate, had also been floated as a possible pick for White House press secretary.
In response to the speculation, Crowley told The New York Post, “It would be an honor to serve in the new administration.”
Her career in foreign policy began as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon, according to her Fox News bio. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and holds a Ph.D. in international affairs from Columbia University.
The sources said it wasn’t yet clear if her title would mirror that of Ben Rhodes, who currently serves as the U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications. Rhodes was one of Obama’s the most influential staff members and had a critical hand in shaping the administration’s global security policies and then selling those policies to the world.
