Imagine that. A black city marshal named Derrick Stafford shoots and kills a six year old white male, claiming “self-defense” in Louisiana. Following this, there hasn’t been any riots, any looting, any fires set or any other innocent people targeted and beat because of their skin color.

In Charlotte, you have a black cop who shot and killed a black male, yelling multiple times to drop his gun. The black cop shoots and kills the black male with the gun and Charlotte goes up in flames.
A deputy city marshal charged with murder after a police body camera recorded him shooting a 6-year-old boy is asking a Louisiana judge to throw out his indictment, saying he acted in self-defense by opening fire on a car driven by the boy’s father.
A court filing by Derrick Stafford’s attorneys says the video recording lacks audio for the first 27 seconds, making it impossible to determine if Stafford started shooting before or after Jeremy Mardis’ father raised his hands inside the car.

Stafford’s lawyers claim the father, Christopher Few, ignored officers’ commands to stop and rammed into a vehicle that another deputy marshal, Norris Greenhouse Jr., was exiting.
Amazing isn’t it? Derrick Stafford shooting a six year old boy doesn’t trigger any riots, but a black cop shooting a man who was told multiple times to drop his weapon triggers violence and riots. Well done Charlotte.
