Things are crazy right now. You have establishment RINOs like Bob Dole and Orrin Hatch coming out in support of Trump, and you have actual conservatives coming out with guns blazing against Donald Trump. National Review, which has made no secret of their hatred for Donald Trump is releasing a special February edition of the magazine to try and stop Donald Trump from winning the nomination. It’s not just the hacks at the magazine though. National Review has assembled a coalition of conservatives to be a part of their Stop Trump Movement. Conservatives like Dana Loesch, Thomas Sowell and Katie Pavlich are all part of the coalition. Less relevant hacks like Glenn Beck, Eric Erickson are also a part of this.
You can read the National Review’s Against Trump article here.
I really don’t know what to make of this. Unless the nominee for the GOP is Jeb Bush or Chris Christie, I plan to support whomever it is. I’m more interested in tearing down Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton than I am a candidate I will likely vote for. But the stop Trump coalition is real. I’m not going to bash these people simply because they are against Donald Trump. That’s their choice. But this is unprecedented. I’ve never seen anything like this before during an election in my life. I assume most in the National Review coalition to stop Trump is made up of Ted Cruz supporters. Am I wrong to assume this?

Don’t they release that once the field is cleared and all the GOP retreads are gone, leaving just one establishment candidate that the GOP-e hacks will circle the wagons around that candidate? National Review is calling Trump a ‘Menace to American conservatism’. I guess I should pay more attention.
