Despite what you might hear on Fox News, or from GOP hacks like Rick Wilson who loves going on MSNBC, Trump can win the independent vote as this Rasmussen poll suggests. This isn’t an outlier earlier. A Rasmussen poll in October found similar numbers with Trump and independents against Hillary Clinton. Sorry hacks and Fox heads, bad news for you.

Seventy-five percent (75%) of Democrats back Clinton, up five points from October. Trump draws support from 63% of Republicans, virtually unchanged from the previous survey. Unaffiliated voters prefer Trump 36% to 25%, but 29% of these voters like some other candidate. These findings also are similar to the October survey.
