Either the corrupt Democrat media complex is making a complete and utter fool of themselves because they are scared of Ben Carson, or because they are scared of Donald Trump and have found a way to bump him out of the news cycle. For the first time, Ben Carson inches ahead of Donald Trump, despite the media’s smears. If anything, these media smears against Ben Carson are probably helping him inch up more in the polls. It’s basically a statistical tie, as Carson leads Trump by 1% in South Carolina Monmouth poll. The last poll taken for the GOP primary in South Carolina was in August when Ben Carson was at 15% and Donald Trump was at 30%.
Not only has Trump led steadily since Trumpmania took off this summer, he’s led big. From late July through mid-October, he topped eight straight polls of South Carolina by no less than 13 points and by as many as 23. In seven of those eight polls, he topped 30 percent; in the one in which he didn’t, he was at 29. As recently as October 22nd, CBS had him at 40 percent, 17 points ahead of Carson.
But then something changed. The last poll of the state before today’s came from Clemson and put Trump’s lead at just four points, 23/19. Was that an outlier or evidence that the race is tightening? Here’s your (apparent) answer via Monmouth:

What might be really the funniest thing about this poll is Lindsey Graham. In the state that keeps electing him senator for some reason, only 1% would vote for him in the South Carolina primary. LOL!
