Rand Paul made it official today, announcing he will run for president in 2016. This is of course the worst kept secret in DC. Rand Paul has basically been running for president since he won his Kentucky Senate seat in 2010. Below is a video of Rand Paul making his announcement.

Rand Paul’s announcement for his run for president comes about a week after Ted Cruz announced his run.
