It started out as a fire on the Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Now, some of the roller coaster has actually collapsed. The reason for the fire and collapsed is unknown as of now. Check out the pictures of the Colossus collapse.

I thought it might have been lightning from thuderstorms in the area, but judging by the picture of the Colossus fire, it doewsn’t look like that was the case:
