Glenn Beck has jumped the shark once again. One could understand the ‘humanitarian’ purpose of giving the illegal border hoppers free teddy bears and soccer balls. I didn’t agree with it, but didn’t have a major problem with it since it wasn’t government money. This, however, Beck has NO excuse. He is now defending anti-Semitic Penelope Cruz and her anti-Israel comment.

“I read some very disturbing article on some Hollywood insider magazine where they were actually talking about putting Penelope Cruz on a Hollywood blacklist,” Beck said on his radio program. “I can’t disagree with her any more. … She’s standing up for Hamas. But I believe in more speech, not less, and those who have the courage to speak their minds give us the opportunity to question with boldness and find out what we really believe.”
“Blacklists are wrong,” Beck said flatly. “It was wrong in McCarthy era in the 1950s. It is wrong now. From global warming extremists calling for actual jail time for those saying, ‘I don’t believe you have this right,’ to now Hollywood creating a blacklist for those who speak out in favor of Hamas. Penelope Cruz — what she said this last weekend is wrong, dead wrong. But now Hollywood is talking about putting a blacklist together for her. I strongly oppose what Ms. Cruz said last weekend, but I strongly support … her right to say it.”
Maybe Glenn Beck has been hanging around Bill O’Reilly too long.
Yes, we have a First Amendment in this country, and we also have consequences for those who use the First Amendment to smear an entire religious group. People are pissed at Penelope Cruz and are refusing to hire her for acting jobs because of her ‘Israel is committed Genocide in Gaza’ BS. That’s your consequences Penelope Cruz. You are free to speak your anti-Semitic mind, but be prepared to deal with the backlash when you make outrageous claims like this.
As far as you Glenn Beck, your doctor needs to change your meds quickly. You are losing it, quickly.
