If i was eligible to vote in the early 1960’s I probably would have voted for John F. Kennedy. Back then, you didn’t have the Internet (obviously) and the other sources of information about the various candidates like you do now. The media lovefest of JFK was much like what it is for Obama today. Look back at Kennedy’s tax cutting, anti-Communist, American exceptionalism platform, how could I not support that in the early ’60s? So what the hell happened to the Democrats since JFK? After JFK was assassinated, the racist far left progressive Lyndon Johnson took this country down the toilet and into the Vietnam war. Then in the late ’70s it was Jimmy Carter, once thought the be the worst president in American history before Obama came along. He took the economy into the toilet and Iran took Americans hostages. Then it was Bill Clinton, the horny rapist who allowed Osama Bin Laden to escape, and did nothing after the first World Trade Center bombing, and the USS Cole bombing. Now you have Obama. Not only the worst president in American history, but also the most inept, most corrupt president who makes Richard Nixon look like a choir boy.

The progressive liberal Democrat party of today has gone from JFK’s aspirations of landing on the moon to Obama’s failed launch of a simple website in the year 2013 for socialized medicine with ObamaCARE.
In just a half a century, the Democrats have gone from the Apollo moonshot to failing to launch a website correctly, being embarrassed internationally over Egypt, Syria and Iran, and failing to protect their own ambassador in Libya. Oh, and did I mention the various other Obama scandals such as tax cheating IRS workers targeting Obama’s political enemies, or Obama’s VA letting at least 40 veterans die because they simply didn’t want to bother helping them?
What have the Democrats as a whole done to this country in the 21st century? The country is more politically polarized than it ever was, racial tension has exploded because of the Democrats race mongering, and you are bashed if you have traditional views on marriage.
This is what progressivism has yielded over the last half century. While this is mostly the fault of Democrats, progressive Republicans can’t escape blame either.
