Dave Brat is running a primary challenge against Eric Cantor, the RINO GOP Majority leader in the House. Dave Brat is a Professor of Economics at Randolph-Macon College. The Virginia primary is June 10th, so Dave Brat has time to make up ground on Cantor.

According to Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon, “One of the inspirations of the tea party movement was to actually take individuals who were not career politicians and have them jump in as citizen legislators and join the vocal process.” David Brat, a professor who chaired the Department of Economics and Business at Randolph-Macon College, is “jumping in” in a big way.
Although he still retains his full professorship, Brat left his chair position at Randolph-Macon to take on House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) for the 7th congressional district of the Commonwealth of Virginia in what Bannon calls “an historic and epic fight” to unseat a majority leader. Appearing on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM radio, Brat admitted that a House majority leader has not lost an election since before World War II.
Nevertheless, the economist said that as a professor, he teaches hundreds of young adults about the $127 trillion in unfunded liabilities with which this country is burdened, saying “it is time to take action and do my part” in reversing the upward debt spiral. “There comes a point where you have to quit lecturing about it and take the challenge on yourself,” said Brat. The professor said that Eric Cantor and the leadership on both sides of the aisle in Washington will not even talk about the $127 trillion in unfunded liabilities.Brat also stated that the $127 trillion is real and politicians have promised it to provide Americans with Medicare and Social Security; they are “promised by law” he explained. According to Brat, America doesn’t have the money to fund the programs; therefore, the programs are “insolvent and no politician will bring that up.” Brat said he would make a promise not to raise the debt ceiling. According to Brat, Cantor has been in Congress for fourteen years and gets “faked out every business cycle” by Democrats.
