Obama State of the Union lowest rated in Nielsen tracking history

obama-you-lieObama has set yet another record! Obama’s 2014 State of the Union address got the lowest ratings in Nielsen’s tracking history. You would think that Nielson would have been tracking State of the Union addresses for a long time, but they only began in 1993. Obama’s smashed his record for lowest Nielsen rated State of the Union address from last year, dropping 1.1% in ratings. As far as total viewers, only BJ Bill Clinton had less watching his State of the Union in 2000 than Barry Obama did last night.

These are the Nielsen ratings of State of the Union address since they began tracking in 1993 (in millions):

2014 – 20.7
2013 – 21.8
2012 – 24
2011 – 26.6
2010 – 29.8
2009 – 32.5
2008 – 24.7
2007 – 29.6
2006 – 26.9
2005 – 25.2
2004 – 28
2003 – 38.8
2002 – 33.6
2001 – 27.6
2000 – 22.4
1999 – 31
1998 – 37.2
1997 – 28.4
1996 – 29.6
1995 – 29.5
1994 – 32.9
1993 – 44.3

Pretty impressive stuff there Obama. Seems like America is finally tuning out the Marxist Chicago thug, even though they stupidly re-elected him in 2012.

There are also far more channels that are available and teleivising the State of the Union today than there was in 2000, or even 1993.
