According to the USGS, 3,000 people felt "very strong" shaking in 6.3 New Zealand quake. There is a low likelihood of casualties.

Sure have been a lot of earthquakes lately. New Zealand’s North Island joins L.A. and Puerto Rico as areas to see ‘feelable’ earthquakes recently. I blame the Seahawks fans for their noise or something.
