October 23rd, 1983… Many of you reading this right now probably weren’t even born yet. But even in October of 1983, it seems terrorism is the flavor of the month for Iran backed terrorists groups. October 23rd, 1983 was the Beirut, Lebanon terrorist attacked a Marine barracks.. 241 Americans were killed and Hezbollah back then claimed responsibility. Some things never change.
40 years ago today, 220 Marines, 18 Sailors, and 3 Soldiers were killed in a bombing at the United States Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.
