Cummings is a drag queen invited by Joe Biden to the White House to celebrate the bipartisan passage of the Respect for Marriage Act. The bill was mostly symbolic as gay marriage was never under threat. Marti G. Cummings tweeted back in March:

Now Cummings tweets are protected after the backlash from this March tweet. Apparently they can dish it out but not take the repercussions.
