I love how the media always tells us what a purple state Ohio is. But is it? Look at the last two presidential elections and last night’s primary vote. Ohio is looking more and more like a red state to me. Last night saw more than 2:1 Republicans turn out to vote in the primary than Democrats. I guess that Roe V. Wade illegal leak either didn’t fire up communists in Ohio, or the Democrats are dying in that state.
Even historically Democrat shithole counties, like Cuyahoga county in Cleveland is starting to close the numbers in turnout. Hamilton County which includes Cincinnati, had more Republican votes than Democrats. This is also a historically “blue” county.
Looking at the Ohio primary results, and I can’t help but notice a few things… Democrats are once again, slower at counting votes.
Secondly, Republican turnout has nearly doubled the Dem’s in a historically battleground state.
