Believe it or not, the primary season of 2022 begins tonight. Instead of watching the Slur of the Union, I’m much more interested in the Texas primary results tonight. Greg Abbott will likely win the GOP primary for governor, and Robert Francis O’Rourke will probably win the primary for the communist Democrats. But there are more interesting races in Texas tonight than just the governor race. With the newly drawn congressional districts, it will be interesting to see how the turnout it. A “Squad” communist could even beat Henry Cuellar in a safe Democrat district. Challenging Cuellar in the communist primary is radical Jessica Cisneros.
