Javier Villalobos has won the election in McAllen, Texas a border town flooded with illegal immigrants, flipping the mayor ideology from communist to Republican. The official party is the McAllen Mayor is deemed “non partisan” but the win for the Republican Javier Villalobos is still a pollical earth for communists. McAllen Texas is about 85% Hispanic. This is starting to show the cracks in the communist open border policies. People who have to live with it daily are leaving the communist Democrat party in droves.
Javier Villalobos is a former Hidalgo County GOP chair and Abbott/Perry appointee.

the McAllen results are frustrating in the sense that i hated that most of the statewide energy this cycle went elsewhere and the results aid the GOP’s narrative but also it’s a june runoff on a saturday in a voter suppressed state so we got a lot to deal with tbh
