Well this is interesting… Not only did Comrade Bernie Sanders file to run for president as a Democrat, he also filed to run as an independent. As the DNC tries to screw Sanders out of the nomination (again) and try and hand it to Joe Biden, is Bernie Sanders going to run third party? Forget Howard Schultz, if Bernie Sanders runs as a third party ticket against Trump and whoever the Democrats allow to be their candidate (probably Biden), that would not only lead to a Trump landslide, but it would be on the scale of George H.W. Bush in 1988.

It’s probably more likely that greedy Sanders is running on a dual ticket because money he raises from his presidential run can be used for his Senate races since he claims to be in independent in the Senate.

Sanders is officially running as a Democrat in the 2020 presidential primary, but his filing with the FEC revealed he still intends to run as an Independent in the 2024 Senate Race.
Sanders lost the 2016 Democratic primary to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and won his reelection to the Senate during the 2018 cycle with 67.3 percent of the vote, according to Ballotpedia. (RELATED: Bernie: ‘I Nearly Coughed My Brains Out’ The Few Times I Smoked Marijuana)
Sanders raised over $6 million in the first 24 hours of his candidacy in the 2020 race, and averaged less than $30 per donation, giving him a huge advantage in the ever-expanding Democratic primary field.
