I knew when I saw yesterday that Canada was hosting a “drag summer camp” for seven year olds it was only a matter of time before it happened in this country. And well, it happened this weekend. In Santa Cruz, California (up near San Francisco), CampYATC hosted their first ever Weekend Long Camp for “The Art of Drag”. They describe this as a way for kids of eight years old and up to “discover their inner drag” or something.
Ok, groomer.
So, as you may know CampYATC has had a Drag Workshop for Kids for years, decades even! We love the Art Form and wanna share it with everyone!
We are hosting our first ever Weekend Long Camp for “The Art of Drag” this upcoming weekend (March 31-April 2) and we would love to spread the word about it!
To date, we’ve received a lot of hate email and calls but we’ve received MORE LOVELY & SUPPORTIVE messages, and we are so moved by each and every one of you who have reached out.We know:
1) We must fight hatred with knowledge and LOVE!
2) We must raise the next generation of Royalty up and let them know that they are LOVED! This is THE MOST important thing in the whole entire world!

3) We must make knowledge accessible and we must continue to EXPAND!We have had an extremely generous donor step forward and offer to
PAY FOR ANY KIDDO who wants to COME TO DRAG CAMP!
We EVEN have airline miles to help families who want to fly to camp, get to camp!
