The damage is done, all the spying and data collecting China was able to do for a week with this “spy balloon” over US air space has already been retransmitted back to China. So why now did they weak, feckless military finally shoot down the balloon? When it was over eastern Montana, that’s one of the most sparsely populated parts of the country. The “debris falling” excuse doesn’t work. But now, it’s shot down over the Atlantic Ocean. I’m sure it was away from all those windmills killing whales though.
Shooting a spy balloon down after 24+ hours is like locking your door after your home has already been burglarized.
Give me a break.

Now let’s see what happens to the Chinese spy balloon over Latin America. There may also be another one floating around in Canada.
