Fourteen previous NEVER McCarthy votes have shifted in the twelfth round of voting. McCarthy now stands at 213 votes (one more than Marxist Jeffries) but still not enough for Speaker. McCarthy needs five more votes to be Speaker. Ken Buck, McCarthy supporter of Colorado was not in Congress today. He would give McCarthy 214.

I still don’t see how McCarthy gets to 218 with the seven remaining holdouts. Of course, I never expected Paul Gosar of Arizona to flip like he did today.
