Yet again, the GOP has set a record for GOP midterm turnout in a primary. This time it’s Wisconsin. This follows a pattern seen in other “purple” states so far this primary season. In the GOP governor and Senate primary, GOP voters turned out in record numbers, with over 650,000 primary votes. This blew away 2010’s GOP primary turnout of about 600,000 votes.
In the 2018 primary when a senate seat was up for grabs in the Republican primary there were only about 450,000 primary votes.
On the other hand, Democrat voter turnout was slightly down.. In 2018 when the primary for governor was at stake for the communist Democrats there were around 538,000. This year, the Democrats candidates for Senate (they want to knock off Ron Johnson) was only 501,000 or so votes..
I’m not saying that Wisconsin is a slam dunk for Republicans this year. But it follows a pattern of what we’ve seen so far in purple states this primary cycles. Record or near record GOP turnout and depressed communist turnout. That may be a good sign to flip the Wisconsin governor and for Ron Johnson to easily hold his Senate seat.
After what the weaponized FBI and DOJ pulled this week, you’ll likely see Republicans even more fired up to vote in the midterms.
