She claimed this while bashing another phony actor, Nancy Mace of South Carolina. So maybe it balances out.
No faking here. Putting your hands behind your back is a best practice while detained, handcuffed or not, to avoid escalating charges like resisting arrest.

Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Mace are both very poor actors. Nancy Mace pretends to be a conservative. At least Ocasio-Cortez is somewhat honest about being a commie.
