While most people have had their attention elsewhere, either with the shootings or the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, the average cost for a gallon of gas continues to rise to record levels never seen before. Yesterday was the most expensive Memorial Day in American history. Today, the day after, it’s even more expensive. The average cost for a gallon of gas around the country is $4.622, yet another brand new record.
Of course, if you “only’ paying $4.622, you should consider yourself lucky.. States like California are well over $6 per gallon while states like Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Oregon are well past $5 per gallon.
US gas prices hit another record average high today at $4.622, a 52% jump from a year ago.
