And the good news keep on coming. Chris Wallace is reportedly so depressed over CNN Plus’ miserable failure, he broke down in front of his crew. Isn’t this just so delicious? Chris Wallace is one of the slimiest people in media, and that’s saying something in a pit full of snakes. He only has a job in media because of his mediocre father Mike Wallace.
Wallace was reportedly breaking down in front of his crew over the “miserable failure” of the streaming platform before it eventually went under last week after barely 23 days in operation.
“Two weeks ago, streaming was king,” Wallace concluded Sunday, referencing the CNN+ shutdown and corresponding headlines surrounding Netflix’s financial struggles. “Now suddenly streaming is in an ICU on life support.”
Now he’s having mental breakdowns and suggesting he may be leaving CNN already, less than a year after signing with the garbage network.
Wallace’s next step in the news media was broached during a Common Ground Committee panel discussion.
When asked by moderator and former news correspondent Jacqueline Adams if he had any personal revelations to share following the shutdown of CNN+ last week, the 74-year-old joked he had no breaking news to share.
“I’m in good shape, whether it’s CNN or someplace else. Frankly, what I’m mostly concerned about right now, and very, is my team and hundreds of other people … that had jobs at CNN+,” Wallace said.
