The war on cops just doesn’t want to end. After two NYPD officers were shot and killed in New York last week, three cops were targeted and shot in Houston today. You may think of Houston being some law abiding conservative bastion since it’s in Texas. But that’s not the case. Houston if of several cities that have gone to the Democrats in recent years, and today Houston resembles a third world country, rather than an American city. Until people quit electing communist, the war on cops will just continue.
The man accused of shooting three police officers near downtown Houston is now in custody after an hourslong standoff in the Fifth Ward area, according to Houston police.
Roland Caballero was identified as the man who opened fire on the officers following a chase in the 2100 block of McGowen Street.
The scene unfolded at about 2:42 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Trallee Street, as officers were responding to a disturbance call. Police said Caballero took off from the scene as soon as he spotted the officers.
According to Houston Police Chief Troy Finner, Caballero crashed out at McGowen Street and Hutchins, where he immediately began shooting at the officers as they arrived.
