Ted Cruz attempted to clean up his own mess of calling the January 6th Capitol riots a “violent terrorist attack”. But it turns out, yesterday wasn’t the first time Cruz has referred to what happened on January 6th 2021 a terrorist attack or terrorism. He was quite vocal about how much of a terrorist attack it was last year. That’s why his attempted cleanup on Tucker Carlson Tonight fell on deaf ears (and was painful to watch).
Yesterday? You have used this phrase multiple times over a span of months. You are only backpedaling now because you forgot you’re not allowed to acknowledge objective reality if you want the 2024 GOP nomination. pic.twitter.com/qCPP9BARe2

Ted Cruz isn't just apologizing to Tucker for "sloppy" extemporaneous words from earlier this week.
It's also a reversal from his statement calling J6 a "despicable act of terrorism" hours after Congress reconvened. https://t.co/W63vY3ylpo pic.twitter.com/D5FqBffCo1

Ted Cruz will NEVER be elected to country wide office. Any thoughts he had about running in 2024 were pretty much ended yesterday after pandering to Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. He might not even be able to win his Texas primary in 2024 for Senate anymore after what he pulled. He barely beat Beto in the general election as it is. Sorry Ted, you blew it dude!
