The dad who called President Joe Biden on Christmas Eve and ended the conversation with “Let’s Go Brandon” has revealed he is considering a run for political office.
Jared Schmeck, an Oregon resident and former police officer, shared the news during an interview on “The Todd Starnes Show” on Tuesday.
“I want to pray about it, see what God has for me,” Schmeck said in response to running for office.
“At the end of the day, I want His will for my life and the direction that it goes. And I strongly believe that standing up is the right thing to do here as long as that message that I’m portraying is glorifying His name. And yeah, I’ll see where it goes,” he added.
Schmeck’s phone call with Biden on December 24 made viral headlines after his, “Let’s Go Brandon,” shout-out prompted the president to say, “Let’s go Brandon. I agree.”
