Loser Adam Kinzinger who isn’t running for re-election 2022 (because he has absolutely no chance to win his district’s primary), has a cushy, high paying media job waiting for him at CNN, Fox or MSNBC after the new Congress begins in 2023. Now the crybaby Kinzinger is dropping hints he may run for Illinois governor, or even president if Trump runs again in 2024! LOL! Kinzinger wouldn’t even even win the GOP primary in Illinois is he ran, for governor or president. Maybe he’ll try to pull an Evan McMuffin and try and syphon votes off the Republican candidate in 2024 as an independent or something.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) is mulling a run for statewide office next year and isn’t ruling out the possibility of a 2024 presidential bid.
The retiring Illinois congressman told CNN that he is considering launching a campaign for either the Senate or the Illinois governor’s mansion. He said he will “probably” make a decision by January.
He also told the network that he “definitely” isn’t ruling out a bid for president in 2024.
Kinzinger announced last week that he wouldn’t seek reelection to his House seat in 2022 after Illinois’s Democratic-controlled state legislature approved a new congressional map that did away with his Republican-majority district.
Even before that, however, Kinzinger faced strong headwinds within his own party. His vote in January to impeach former President Trump infuriated conservatives, almost guaranteeing that he would have faced a bruising primary challenge.
