Wow, that was sure quick. Brooklyn Center police officer Kimberly Ann Potter, the woman who mistaken shot Daunte Wright over the weekend trigging left wing riots has been arrested and already had her mugshot posted. Yet, the cop who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt wouldn’t even be charged.
A just-released mugshot of Kim Potter — the former Minnesota cop who fatally shot Daunte Wright after mistaking her gun for her Taser — shows the 26-year veteran looking bare-faced and solemn.
Potter is cooling her heels Wednesday at the Hennepin County Jail, where she’s being held without bail pending second-degree manslaughter charges in the death of Wright.
The striking mugshot shows the 48-year-old looking stripped-down, wearing orange jail garb over a brown shirt and her blond hair down past her shoulders.
The Hennepin County sheriff’s jail roster shows Potter was booked into the lockup just after 12 p.m. local time.
