Or honor his kids request to go elsewhere because it was so damn cold? Ted Cruz isn’t the governor of Texas, he’s a Senator. He was on “recess” scheduled by the communist Democrats. Sure, the optics look bad only because the media are a bunch of hypocrites. I mean, it’s not like Obama when he went golfing shorting after ISIS beheaded an American on camera or something.
