Update: 6/24/20 – Backlash against the policy in the left wing Oregon county forced the legislators to make masks mandatory for EVERYONE, regardless of race.
If you needed any more proof that this whole COVID-19 and face mask crap was about power and control, I present to you Lincoln County, Oregon. There is only one group of people who must wear face masks and that’s white people. If you have Latino, African-American, Asian, or any other minority, you re exempt from wearing face masks. An even more funny thing about Lincoln County, Oregon is that it’s a very heavily white county. Hispanics make up only about 8% of the population while african Americans are only under 0.5%. This whole mask order not only is about control, but it sounds pretty racist to me.

Lincoln County, Oregon, has exempted non-white people from a new order requiring that face coverings be worn in public — to prevent racial profiling.
Health officials announced last week residents must wear face coverings in public settings where they may come within six feet of another individual who is not from the same household.
But people of color do not have to follow the new rule if they have “heightened concerns about racial profiling and harassment” over wearing the masks, officials said.
“No person shall intimidate or harass people who do not comply,” health officials said.
With mask requirements becoming more common, activists have raised concerns that the directives could put non-white people in danger.
