Auto Jemima pancake mix and syrup have been around since 1889. You undoubtedly had some pancakes made with their brand in your childhood. Now, it’s all considered too racist and Quaker Oats (owned by Pepsi) is removing all images of Aunt Jemima and renaming the brand because it’s now considered “too racist” or something. Next up will be Uncle Ben’s rice and the Cream of Wheat logo, you can bet on that. I really hate 2020.

"…Aunt Jemima's origins are based on a racial stereotype. While work has been done over the years to update the brand in a manner intended to be appropriate and respectful, we realize those changes are not enough,” said the CEO of @Quaker. #abc13 https://t.co/Un0iMrWkmZ
