These liberal media hacks just can’t stop. Maggie Haberman, an epic hack of a “journalist” tried to imply earlier today in a New York Times hit piece that Trump and NRA president Wayne LaPierre discussed a “quid pro quo”. As was the case with the media falsely claiming Trump offered a quid pro quo to the Ukraine president in exchange for investigating corrupt Joe Biden’s drug addict son, this was fake news.
New York Times Fake News: Stealth edits out implications of quid pro quo between Trump and NRA |
---|
Instead of posting about correcting the error, the New York Times nad Maggie Haberman instead simply stealth edited the hit piece removing the words “But in return for his support” to “During the meeting.”
Yet in the sentence before the implied quid pro quo, the hit piece says “It’s not clear whether Mr. Trump asked Mr. LaPierre for his support of if the idea was pitched to the NRA.”
hrrrrmmm NYT has very quietly edited away the NRA quid pro quo language https://t.co/JU3XRUl8rQ pic.twitter.com/eJe7D8EMT1

The NRA issued a statement denying any sort of special arrangement.
New: NRA is out with their statement about meeting between Trump and LaPierre: “The NRA categorically denies any discussion occurred about special arrangements pertaining to the NRA’s support of the President and vice versa.”
