Looks like Joaquin Castro hasn’t only increased business at places like Bill Miller’s BBQ in San Antonio, he’s also helping Trump raise even more money. The San Antonio donors targeted by Castro who doxxed their names and jobs have formed what they are calling a Texas 44 group. The Texas 44 group has created a “fundraising frenzy” to raise money for the president’s 2020 re-election campaign.

One of the donors targeted told the Washington Examiner that they had branded themselves the “Texas 44,” and organized a “fundraising frenzy” to raise money for the president’s 2020 re-election campaign.
“My phone’s been lit up for two days with calls from many of the Texas 44 and others of our friends here in Texas who are outraged by Castro’s comments,” R. H. Bowman said.
Castro had tweeted the list with a comment many took as a call to harass his supporters.
“Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump,” Castro tweeted.
While the list is publicly available, it is very unorthodox for an elected official to put out such a list in such a public fashion.
“Their contributions are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders,'” Castro added.
