The Mexican government has been allowing the free flow of illegal aliens through their country into the US for decades. They have refused to lift a finger to do a thing about iet. Trump had enough of Mexico’s shenanigans and slapped a 5% tariff on all Mexican imported goods, that will hit 25% by October unless Mexico does something about the illegal alien flood through their country to the US. Mexico is panicked, they know we have a $100 billion trade deficit with them and they don’t want the gravy train to run out. So the communist president of Mexico is panicked and has sent a foreign relations secretary to Washington D.C. to beg Trump not to go ahead with the tariffs that start June 10th. The Mexican peso has been in freefall since Trump announced the tariffs on Mexico.

López Obrador said in the letter that his foreign relations secretary was leading a delegation to Washington D.C. to speak with Trump administration officials in order to seek a peaceful and negotiated solution to Trump’s threat to impose stiff tariffs on goods from Mexico if the country doesn’t do more to slow irregular migration.
