Speaking of the mid-west in 2016, Trump won Wisconsin, Michigan and nearly Minnesota. No Republican had won Wisconsin or Michigan since the 1980s. Trump also won Iowa, a state won by Republican presidential candidates only once since the 1980’s. Then of course there’s Ohio, a state absolutely crushed Hillary Clinton in 2016. In other mid-western states that are typically Republican, Trump absolutely crushed Clinton with margins of 15-30%. Yea, really progressive in the mid-west Ocasio-Cortez!
We’ll start with the obvious, Donald Trump. Given little to no chance to beat the “progressive” Hillary Clinton, he not only won, he won in an electoral college landslide with over 300 EC votes. He won states that no Republican had won since 1984. The only reason why Clinton won the popular vote was because of all the illegal alien votes that were counted in California.
How about the House vote in 2016? Republicans actually won the popular vote for that in 2016, winning 63 million votes to 61 million for communist Democrats. After all the votes were counted in 2016, Republicans had a total of 241 seats in the House to just 194 for communist Democrats. Not a very “progressive” message there.
And then of course there’s the Senate. Republicans maintained their majority in the senate. The only states the communist Democrats turned were Illinois which was obvious with a weak incumbent RINO like Mark Kirk and in New Hampshire where there was plenty of voter fraud that never got investigated.
So tell me again AOC how 2016 was the “progressive” message. Are you honestly trying to claim that Trump is one of you communist-socialists now? Try again Sandy!
