So what happens now to the State of the Union address that was supposed to take place next Tuesday? The government is now fully re-opened until at least February 15th. The State of the Union address is typically given in the last week of January, which is next week. Will it take place on Tuesday? Doesn’t seem likely as Botox Pelosi is still refusing to schedule a State of the Union address, even though Trump gave into her and other communist Democrats of re-opening the already bloated government. At least as of now, don’t look for the State of the Union address to occur anytime soon.
So when is the State of the Union address now that government is open? |

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday did not guarantee the State of the Union would happen on the Jan. 29 date it was originally scheduled for, even though the White House, Republicans and Democrats struck a deal to pass a three-week stop-gap measure to fund the federal government.
“The State of the Union is not planned now. Get that? What I said to the president is that when the government is open we will discuss a mutually agreeable date,” Pelosi said when asked by The Daily Caller at a Friday press briefing.
