Looks like the Democrats have overplayed their hand again. Everyone thought that Trump was going to cave and and give the Democrats a new CR government funding bill without any funding for the border wall. Now, after the GOP met with Trump, Steve Scalise has announced that $5 billion in border wall funding will be added to the CR that’s needed to fund the government. If the Democrats refuse to sign on to the CR, then the Democrats will get the blame for shutting down the government.
