The sham-show trail of Mike Flynn revealed yet again why activist judges like Emmet Sullivan need to removed from the bench. Sullivan, an activist Democrat judge nominated by President Bill Clinton on March 22, 1994, to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia flat out accused Flynn of treason. Even the Mueller goons didn’t want to go there.

DID FLYNN COMMIT TREASON?
Sullivan is now asking the special counsel's office whether it ever considered charging Flynn with treason.
Prosecutor Brandon Van Grack struggles to answer, saying it wasn't considered.

So in open court Judge Sullivan raised question of whether LTG Michael Flynn committed treason, sold out the United States, and served as an unregistered foreign agent in White House. All terribly damaging, all false. Can Flynn receive fair treatment from Sullivan in future?

Judge returns to his hypothetical question on treason:
“I wasn’t suggesting he was committing treason. I was just curious if he could have been charged. Lots of conspiracy theories out there.”
Prosecutor:
“The gov't has no reason to believe” that Flynn “committed treason.”

Judge Sullivan even asked the government whether Flynn could have been charged with treason for interfering in Russian sanctions imposed by Obama administration. Government didn’t want to go there.

So Judge Sullivan suggests Flynn committed TREASON then "walks it back" after a recess. I'm sorry, a Judge does not accuse a man of TREASON and just say, "oops, didn't mean it."
This feels like we are watch a well-scripted play.
