Leave it to activist judges, like this one in Detroit to rule that a law banning female genital mutilation is “unconstitutional.” I guess that’s what you should expect from left wing activist judges these days.The judge, Bernard A. Friedman was originally nominated as a “libertarian” judge in the late 1980’s. He’s since run to the left and become an activist on the bench. In 2014, Judge Friedman struck down Michigan’s constitutional and statutory bans on same-sex marriage. Now, he has struck down a Michigan law banning female genital mutilation.

A federal judge is facing a public outcry after he threw out federal charges against several Muslims who are suspected of cutting girls’ genitals to minimize future sexual desires.
“Outrageous,” said a tweet from Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a U.S.-based advocate, who was born in Somalia and underwent Somalia’s severe form of the Islamic practice, dubbed FGM for Female Genital Mutilation. “Cutting girls genitals is a crime and must be prosecuted,” she added.“Wait!
