Minnesota CD07 shifted from Likely Dem to Toss UP

As the media tries their best to campaign for Democrats and declare that they have already won the House, yet another one of their “safe” districts is no longer considered safe. Minnesota CD07 was quietly switched from Likely Democrat to Toss Up by Real Clear Politics. Dave Hughes is the Republican candidate in this race.

There haven’t been any public polls of Minnesota CD07, but it will be interesting to watch. The current socialist rep is Democrat Collin Peterson. There hasn’t been a focus on this district because Democrats and the media are terrified that Peterson may lose. Trump won this district by 30 points back in 2016. This is a Republican leaning district as even weak Willard Mitt Romney won this district by almost 10 points in 2012.

There must be some internal polling that isn’t public that suggest Hughes could win this race on Tuesday. There are now three districts in Minnesota, currently held by Democrats that could flip on Tuesday. Minnesota CD01, CD07 and CD08.
