Here’s yet another Senate seat that most so called “pollster” had Jon Tester winning re-election fairly easy earlier in the summer. After what Tester pulled with Ronny Jackson and voting NO on Brett Kavanaugh, Tester is now in big trouble. His once double digit lead over Matt Rosendale is now down to three point.
Tester is at a dangerous point in his polling. As an incumbent (twice elected), Tester is only at 46%. The rule of thumb is if you are an incumbent and barely in the mid-40’s in polling, you are in trouble.

This poll was conducted by Montana Television Network-Montana State University.
One thing odd about this poll, is that they don’t provide a breakdown of Democrat, Republicans and Independents who were polled. That’s usually common practice for polling institutions and make me think that there is a heavy Democrat oversample in this poll.
