The first week of the 2018 NFL season will be remembered for it’s historically low attendance numbers. After bunches of empty seats were spotted on Sunday for opening day in the NFL, Monday Night Football isn’t faring any better. In fact, tonight’s game in Detroit between the Lions and New York Jets looks like a graveyard.

Of course, I don’t know what scheduling genius at the NFL thought it would be a good idea to feature two historically awful teams on Monday Night Football. One would think that if these two horrendous teams had to play each other, it would be blended in with other Sunday games. But that’s why they make the big bucks I guess.
