In the primary to fill Al Franken’s seat in Minnesota, GOP turncoat Richard Painter actually he thought he had a chance to beat incumbent Tina Smith. Turns it that prediction was about as good as he was an ethics lawyer for Dubya Bush.
Painter can now go back to whining about Trump on CNN and MSNBC as he got absolutely destroyed in the primary tonight. When all the ballots are counted, Painter will likely lose the race by over 60%.
