Yesterday we discovered a rather disturbing tweet from left wing comedian Patton Oswalt. This one from November of 2013 reads: My dong is super-friendly and loves getting rubbed by children. #CareerEndingTwitterTypos. My guess is #CareerEndingTwitterTypos was a hashtag ‘game’ being played by various Twitter users back in November 2013.

The “typo” of course is dong instead of dog. But after reading his tweet bragging about how Oswalt is a “proud’ pedophile, earlier that year, this is again disturbing to put it mildly.
I get it. I’m just not into “blue” or “progressive’ humor, which I’m sure the defense for this tweet is. But why does it that progressives always seem to “joke” about pedophilia? James Gunn’s tweets according to him weren’t actions, merely tweets to be “funny.” I found nothing funny about them.
Patton Oswalt hasn’t even bothered to respond to questions about his “proud pedophile” tweet from July of 2013.
If this is the new “normal” for “blue” comedy, then comedy is as dead as journalism. I suppose I’ll be labeled the bad one for not finding jokes about pedophilia to be funny. But I don’t really care.
