Something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime

I’ve seen a lot of things in all my years. I’ve seen the Berlin Wall fall and the Ronald Reagan speech that lead to it. I saw what terrorists did on 9/11, never thinking terrorists would ever be able to pull off such an attack. I’ve even watched the media go from having a simple liberal bias to being outright propagandists for Democrats, basically becoming an American Pravda. But U.S. flags next to North Korean flags? A U.S. President shaking the hands of a North Korean dictator in front of those flags?

I’m not foolish enough to automatically believe that Kim Jong Un will actual denuclearize and North Korea will suddenly flourish and become a U.S. ally. The Kim family are scum and have always been scum throughout their history. But the shocking image of a U.S. President shaking hands with the Chairman of North Korea with flags from both countries in the backround is just mind blowing.

This isn’t like Obama’s limp wristed hand shake with Raul Castro or giving the Iranian mullahs billions of US Dollars on air plains. What happened today in Singapore was just stunning.
