Neocons like Bill Kristol have been searching for someone to primary Trump in 2020. Most of the mentions go to nut job John Kasich of Ohio. But now Jeff the Flake is looking for attention again. A favorite of sleepy eyes Chuck Todd and Meet the Press, Flakey Flake said he wouldn’t rule out challenging Trump in 2020. That should about as well as the Evan McMuffin challenge in 2016 went. Remember how Evan McMuffin was supposed to win Utah and keep Trump from getting six electoral votes? Yes, please Flakey Flake. Embarrass yourself and primary Trump in 2020. Jeff the Flake is so unpopular in his own state of Arizona, that he wouldn’t win a primary this year for re-election. His approval ratings in Arizona are under 20%, that’s why he announced his “retirement” weeks ago.
Oh no! Jeff Flake may primary Trump in 2020! LOL! |

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) would not rule out challenging President Donald Trump in a 2020 Republican presidential primary.
Flake took the same position on a potential presidential bid back in December when asked.
Flake said, “It’s not in my plans, but I have not ruled anything out. I do hope that somebody runs on the Republican side other than the president — if nothing else than simply to remind Republicans what conservatism is and what Republicans have traditionally stood for.”
