A top Las Vegas trial attorney Robert Barnes has a suggestion for hack Jake Tapper at CNN. After it was revealed today that James Clapper leaked dossier information to Tapper before leaving his job for a high paying job at CNN, Fakey Jakey could be in deeo doo-doo and pee-pee.
To be clear: CNN's Jake Tapper participated in a leak of highly classified information from James Clapper and knowingly participated in a cover-up of it that has gone on for months, during which time CNN hired Clapper as a paid contributor

Vegas attorney: Jake Tapper could face criminal prosecution under the Espionage Act |

Barnes says that Jake Tapper is not exempt from criminal prosecution under the Espionage Act. Fakey Jakey Tapper could even face jail time.
While it is rare, and should be limited in its use, @jaketapper may want to lawyer-up: journalists are not exempt from criminal prosecution under the Espionage Act. Indeed, it appears what @jaketapper did is worse than what his CIA allies said Assange should go to prison for.

Of course, while Barnes obviously knows the law better than I do, I’ll still beleive it when I see so. So far, all that’s happened is media hacks and leakers like Clapper have basically been rewarded by the media. Nothing has happened against them for their treachy against this country. When I see James Clapper prosecuted for lying under oath to Congress at least twice, then maybe I’ll believe media hacks like Jake Tapper would face justice too. Until then, not so much.
