What we’ve learned about Coward County (now longer called Broward) and it’s sheriff is absolutely infuriating. Four of Israel’s deputies refused to go instead the Parkland high school to take out the shooter than ended up killing 17 people. Scott Israel’s PAC accepted thousands of dollars in donations from a convicted felon for his reelection bad. The felon donor, Yoram Izhak, was indicted for allegedly being part of an organized crime ring known as the “Cuban Mafia” that “was allegedly involved in cocaine trafficking, arson, gambling and murder.”

Israel has other things in his past too that the media is hiding.
Sheriff Israel also had routinely handed out taxpayer-funded jobs to political supporters. The sheriff’s response at the time: “lions don’t care about the opinions of sheep.” And finally, The sheriff has also faced corruption accusations: department employees routinely attended campaign events while on the clock for their taxpayer-funded positions. Again, none of this got national news coverage when it was revealed how incompetent Israel and his gang of hacks were during the Cruz shooting.
